Hal Moore

Decorated Lieutenant General in america Military. He fought in the Korean and Vietnam Wars, earning four Bronze Superstars, nine Surroundings Medals, the Legion of Merit, the Military Recognized Service Medal, as well as the Recognized Service Combination. In the wish of gaining entry to america Army Academy at Western world Point, he still left school at age seventeen to function a government work in Washington, D.C. He started his schooling at West Stage at the start of World Battle II. With writer Joseph L. Galloway, he co-wrote a memoir entitled We Had been Military Once. . . And Teen. He and his three siblings was raised in Bardstown, Kentucky. His relationship to Julia Compton created three sons and two daughters. He was likened with the Vietnam Battle soldiers he commanded to American Civil Battle Union General George Armstrong Custer. Both men acquired commanded the 7th Cavalry Device in their particular battles.
