Well-known 1930s actor of Warner Brothers films who starred in the heroic epic, Captain Blood, and in the musical 42nd Street. In 1932, he performed a memorable function in Rainfall. He started his acting profession in the Mississippi riverboat circuit. He afterwards gained parts on Broadway productions and transferred to Hollywood. In the group of the 1935 Warner Brothers’ film, Mary Jane Pa, he ready a personal egg and loaf of bread dish that was afterwards called after him. He previously seven kids.
