Gustave Eiffel

French civil engineer who designed the Eiffel Tower as well as the Statue of Liberty. He also made well-known railroad bridges, like the Garabit viaduct. He had taken his initial paid work as an exclusive secretary for an effective Railway engineer. He produced the steel construction for the Statue of Liberty before it had been shipped to NY. He got wedded to Marie Gaudelet plus they acquired three daughters and two sons jointly. Joseph Pulitzer helped improve the funds to construct the Statue of Liberty predicated on his design.
