Gussie Busch

Anheuser-Busch chairman from 1946 until 1975 and grandson of founder Adolphus. He possessed the St. Louis Cardinals from 1953 until his loss of life. He proved helpful for the family members business as the overall superintendent of making functions and was the first ever to utilize the Clydesdale group as a logo design. He presided over a number of the Cardinals’ most effective years, earning six National Group championships and three Globe Series. He wedded Alice Edna Zisemann, who afterwards donated $70,000 to get a memorial on her behalf hubby. He and Alice acquired a son called August Busch III. His dad commemorated the finish of Prohibition, thanks to Leader Franklin D. Roosevelt, by buying the initial Budweiser Clydesdales.
