After leading the Swedish Still left Party through the 1990s and early 2000s, Schyman formed her own political party, the Feminist Initiative. From 1988 until 2006, she displayed the Stockholm Region constituency in the Swedish Parliament. Before you begin her political profession, she finished her studies in the Socialhogskolan we Stockholm. In the first 2000s, she stirred controversy by providing a speech where she compared the treating ladies in Sweden compared to that of Afghani ladies from the Taliban. She was created and elevated in Taby, Stockholm Region, Sweden. She and fellow Swedish politician Nyamko Sabuni both fought for gender equality within their native country.
