An American writer of brief tales and poems, she actually is most widely known on her behalf acclaimed tales, “Goodbye and ALL THE BEST” and “The Used-Boy Raisers.” Her 1994 function, Collected Tales, was a finalist for the Country wide Book Award as well as the Pulitzer Award. She went to Hunter University and briefly researched with W.H. Auden at THE BRAND NEW School for Public Research. She afterwards trained at Sarah Lawrence University, Columbia College or university, and Syracuse College or university. She was wedded double: to Jess Paley and Robert Nichols. With her initial husband, she got two kids: Nora and Danny. NY governor Mario Cuomo called her the initial official author of New York Condition in 1989.
