Glynis Barber

Well-known for her work in the United kingdom soap operas EastEnders (as Glenda Mitchell) and Emmerdale (as Sophistication Barraclough), she actually is also known for playing Soolin over the sci-fi series Blake’s 7 and Harriet Makepeace over the drama series Dempsey and Makepeace. She produced her screen performing debut after schooling at London’s Mountview Academy of Theater Arts. Her stage performing credits consist of professional productions of Appreciate Words, Macbeth, and Great Flyers. Blessed in Durban, South Africa, for an Afrikaner family members, she afterwards relocated to London, Britain. Pursuing her divorce from professional Paul Antony-Barber, she wedded her Dempsey and Makepeace castmate Michael Brandon and welcomed a kid called Alexander. She made an appearance with Vanessa Redgrave in the 1997 film Deja Vu.
