Glenway Wescott

A twentieth-century, American-born fiction article writer, he is most widely known for functions like the Grandmothers (1927) as well as the Pilgrim Hawk: A Like Tale (1940). He was a prominent amount in the American expatriate community in European countries. He studied on the School of Chicago. He started his literary profession being a poet, but quickly considered writing books and short tales. He was the model for the type of Robert Prentiss in Ernest Hemingway’s traditional novel, SUNLIGHT Also Goes up. Wescott’s romantic relationship with partner Monroe Wheeler started in 1919 and finished just with Wescott’s loss of life in 1987. He resided in France, where he was an acquaintance of fellow expatriate writer Gertrude Stein.
