Award-winning pop singer known for the 1970 hit “Gorgeous USED Man.” She became a celeb in the 1990s. She earned the Les Découvertes de Jean Simon skill competition, which got her invites to try out from three night clubs. She starred in Jean-Claude Lauzon’s well-known film Leolo, as the name character’s mom, and gained a Best Celebrity award for Le magic formula de ma mère in 2006. She was created in Montreal, Quebec. She was wedded to Bob Watier from 1965-1991. She and fellow celebrity Frances Bay had been both inducted into Canada’s Walk of Popularity.
