Gillian Clarke

Welsh poet, author, broadcaster, editor, and translator who received the title of Country wide Poet of Wales in 2008. Her poetry choices consist of Owain Glyndwr, The Sundial, and A Formula for Drinking water. She went to Cardiff College or university. She released her debut poetry collection, Snow for the Hill, in 1971. She was raised in Wales as an British speaker and discovered the Welsh vocabulary in her early adulthood. She was wedded in Cardiff, Wales, and she offered delivery to two sons and a girl. She and English poet Carol Duffy both offered as associates with the overall Certificate of Supplementary Education (GCSE) Poetry Live educational system.
