Gianna Dangelo


American coloratura soprano opera singer who had a dynamic career in the 1950s and 1960s. She examined on the Julliard College in NY and later produced her debut in 1954 at Rome’s Baths of Caracalla as Gilda in Rigoletto. She proved helpful as a tone of voice instructor at Jacobs College of Music after retiring from music in 1970. She grew up with her family members in Hartford, Connecticut. She co-starred with Robert Merrill in Rigoletto on the Metropolitan Opera in NY.
