GH Hardy

British mathematician whose 1940 essay, ‘A Mathematician’s Apology,’ became probably one of the most widely-known essays about mathematics ever created. He’s also well-known for his finding and mentorship of the fantastic Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. He was composing numbers at age group two and went to Winchester University on scholarship or grant. His romantic relationship with John Edensor Littlewood and Srinivasa Ramanujan was depicted in the 2007 book The Indian Clerk by David Leavitt. His dad trained at Cranleigh College in Surrey, Britain. He and fellow mathematician Wilhelm Weinberg developed what found referred to as the Hardy-Weinberg rule independently of 1 another.
