American supercentenarian who, at age 116, became the world’s oldest person. The prior holder of this title passed on on Apr 1, 2015, producing her the world’s oldest person for a complete of 5 times. She was created in Lafayette State, Arkansas and proved helpful being a housekeeper. The Mayor of Camden, Arkansas announced her birthday “Gertrude Time.” She was wedded to Gennie Weaver from 1915 until his loss of life in 1968. She got four kids, the oldest which was 93 during her loss of life. She became the world’s oldest person following loss of life of Japanese girl Misao Okawa, who was simply 117.
