Gertrude Himmelfarb

A FRESH York-born historian known on her behalf work on British culture through the Victorian era, she also posted books and articles regarding modern intellectual history. Her scholarly functions are the De-Moralization of Culture: From Victorian Virtues to Contemporary Ideals (1995) and Relationship and Morals Among the Victorians (1986).
