Indiana woman who, with the help of her own children and children in her neighborhood, oversaw the torture and murder of teenage gal Sylvia Likens in 1965. She was convicted of initial level murder and sentenced alive in jail for her offences, though she was parolled after 14 years. She was created in Indianapolis, Indiana and fell out of senior high school at age group 16 to marry her initial husband. After released from jail, she passed the alias Nadine Truck Fossan and passed away five years afterwards from lung cancers. She acquired six kids with John Baniszewski Sr., to whom she was wedded from 1945 to 1955. She afterwards got remarried to Edward Guthrie, with whom she acquired one young child. She was portrayed by celebrity Catherine Keener within the 2007 play An American Criminal offense.
