Gerry Cheevers

Goaltender referred to as Cheesy Cheevers, he played for five professional leagues from 1956 to 1980, including for Toronto and Boston within the NHL. He started his profession at age group 16 for the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors from the Ontario Hockey Association. He was the goalkeeper around the 1970 and 1972 Stanley Glass earning Boston Bruins, and gained himself an induction in to the Hockey Hall of Popularity in 1985. He was created and elevated in St. Catharine’s, Ontario, Canada. He performed under head trainer Don Cherry around the Bruins.
