Gerhard Ertl

A German physicist who received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2007 for his research of chemical procedures on solid surface types. He was also the movie director from the Fritz Haber Institute from the MPG from 1986 to 2004. He finished his research in Physics in the Complex College or university of Stuttgart in 1961, after their studies at both the College or university of Paris as well as the Ludwig Maximilians College or university in Munich. He received the Nobel Reward on his 71st birthday. He previously two children along with his wife Barbara. He earned the Nobel Reward the entire year before Martin Chalfie do.
