Remembered on her behalf stylistic versatility, this twentieth-century jazz, pop, and R&B-influenced vocalist documented such USA music chart-topping songs as “EASILY Knew You Had been Comin’ (I’d’ve Cooked a Wedding cake),” “Kiss of Flames,” and “Dance BESIDE ME Henry (Wallflower).” When she was simply thirteen years of age, she found work at a vaudeville movie theater in Boston.
