Union general in the U.S. military who defeated General Robert E. Lee on the Fight of Gettysburg in 1863. Pursuing his success, he continuing to control the Army from the Potomac through the Appomattox Marketing campaign. He struggled the Seminole Indians with another U.S. Artillery in Florida.
