This Democratic Party politician served from 1979 until 1983 as Alabama’s twenty-third Lieutenant Governor. Previously, he previously served in both Alabama Home of Representatives as well as the Alabama Senate. After gaining a bachelor’s level from Auburn School, he received his J.D. in the School of Virginia College of Laws. In the past due 1980s, he set up the popular Town Levels music and arts celebration in Birmingham, Alabama. He and his wife Ann became parents to a kid and a little girl. He got into the Alabama gubernatorial principal competition in 1982, but was defeated by fellow Democrat George Wallace.
