George Jean Nathan

An American writer, editor, and drama critic, he helped provide the magazine, The Clever Established, to prominence. He also edited The American Mercury. He graduated from Cornell School and proved helpful as an editor for the Cornell Daily Sunlight. Upon his graduation, he became a fresh York-based movie theater critic. The George Jean Nathan Award is known as after him. He was created in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A well-known females’ guy, he finally wedded Julie Haydon, an celebrity a long time his junior, in 1955. Celebrity Marilyn Monroe starred in the film, ABOUT Eve, which highlighted a womanizing personality predicated on George Jean Nathan.
