George Freeman

American jazz guitarist most widely known for his collaborations with musicians like organist Richard “Groove” Holmes. He initial joined up with a Johnny Griffin-led sextet in 1947. His single debut, 1969’s Delivery Sign, featured music artists like saxophonist Kalaparusha Maurice McIntyre. His sibling is normally saxophonist Von Freeman. He and pianist Dolo Coker both proved helpful as sidemen for Gene Ammons.
