George E. Ohr

Southern musician whose experimental method of manipulating clay received him the nickname, the “Mad Potter of Biloxi.” Regarded by some to become the father from the American Abstract-Expressionism motion. He was a ceramics apprentice to Joseph Lot of money Meyer in 1879. He was a highlighted vendor on the World’s Industrial and Natural cotton Centennial Exposition in New Orleans in 1884. He was hated with the Arts and Crafts Motion of the first 1900s; he was mainly reviled for too little excellence in his artwork and minimal self-discipline in his persona.
