George Dayton


Founder from the Dayton’s Division shop, which became the modern-day Focus on company. His Minnesota expense company required over a floundering dry-goods shop, which he renamed and reopened because the more lucrative Dayton Dry Products. His company constructed Southdale, the very first enclosed retail center, in Minneapolis and in 1962 opened up a discount shop that was top quality as Focus on. His family members was surviving in Clifton Springs, NY, when he was created. He and Roland Hussey Macy, the founder from the Macy’s shops, both transformed the buying and consumption tradition of America.
