George Booth

Most famous being a cartoonist for THE BRAND NEW Yorker, Booth often drew images of modern husbands and their wives, felines, and humorously overweight dogs. Before portion within the U.S. Sea Corps and functioning being a cartoonist for the military publication known as the Leatherneck newspaper, he took artwork classes on the Chicago Academy of Great Arts as well as the Corcoran University of Artwork and Style. He was the 2010 receiver of the Country wide Cartoonists Society’s Milton Caniff Life time Achievement Prize. He was raised on a plantation in Fairfax, Missouri, because the kid of instructors William and Irma Booth. In the 1950s, he resolved in NEW YORK and fulfilled his potential wife, Dione. He and Syd Hoff both made cartoons for THE BRAND NEW Yorker.
