Gene Mako

Winner of 4 Grand Slam doubles game titles in the 1930’s, and an associate from the International Rugby Hall of Popularity. He lettered for 3 years at USC and earned a singles and a doubles NCAA tournament. He is a devoted art lover and opened up his personal gallery, Gene Mako Galleries, in LA. His dad, Bartholomew Mako, was an alumnus of Budapest Academy of Good Arts. He was a wildly effective doubles participant with Don Budge.
