Popular actor and dancer who choreographed his very own dance routines in such hit 1940s and ’50s films as Singin’ in the torrential rain, Anchors Aweigh, An American in Paris and Out. He was rated 15th within the American Film Institute’s set of the best Male Stars ever in 1999. While going to the College or university of Pittsburgh, he became mixed up in Cover and Gown Golf club, an organization that staged and created unique comedic musical productions. In 1952, he received an Academy Honorary Honor for his profession achievements. He was wedded to Betsy Blair from 1941 to 1957, Jeanne Coyne from 1960 to 1973 and Patricia Ward from 1990 to 1996. He previously three kids. He co-starred with Debbie Reynolds in the 1952 traditional Singin’ in the torrential rain.
