Biography

British televison, stage and film actress who appeared in Bridget Jones’s Journal in 2001. She examined on the Royal Academy of Dramatic Artwork. She was a dynamic mountain climber for quite some time. She acquired a son called Luke G-Jones with movie director Sebastian Graham-Jones. She starred within the 1995 film Feeling and Sensibility with Emma Thompson.

1She was named after Elisabeth Bergner's character in Escape Me Never (1935), in which her father Griffith Jones appeared.
2She played Victoria, Princess Royal in Fall of Eagles (1974) and her mother Queen Victoria in Shanghai Knights (2003).
3Was in consideration for the part of Sarah/Anna in The French Lieutenant's Woman (1981) but Meryl Streep, who went on to receive a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her performance, was cast instead.

5Current hobbies include gardening and hill walking near the Jones family home, an old lead miner's cottage in the Welsh mountains.
