Gary Cohen

Sportscaster most well-known as the air and tv play-by-play tone of voice of NY Mets baseball video games. He is recognized to enthusiasts for his baritone tone of voice and catchphrases like “the merry-go-round will maintain movement” and “I’m outta right here!” He was created in Queens and graduated having a level in Political Technology from Columbia College or university in 1981. He known as a few of the most unforgettable moments of latest Mets background, including Todd Pratt’s series-winning walk-off house operate in the 1999 NLDS and Johan Santana’s 2012 no-hitter. He wedded a woman called Lynn, with whom he offers several children. He’s the previous Mets broadcast partner of Howie Rose.
