Australian rules footballer most widely known for his 12-year career using the Australian club Geelong. He performed six video games for Hawthorn in the first 1980s before becoming a member of Geelong. His several honours and his 1986 transformation to born-again Christianity led his followers to make reference to him as “God.” He and his wife, Sue, had been wedded in 1985. The few had four kids, but later on became estranged because of Ablett’s mental health insurance and substance abuse complications. He and Shannon Byrnes both spent great servings of their profession with Geelong.
