Garrick Ohlsson

Known for his chamber music, large repertoire, and mastery of composers like Chopin, Beethoven, Gershwin, and Schubert. He researched with many well-known educators, including Claudio Arrau, Olga Barabini, Tom Lishman, Sascha Gorodnitzki, Rosina Lhévinne, and Irma Wolpe. He, violinist Jorja Fleezanis, and cellist Michael Grebanier founded San Francisco’s FOG Trio. His family members recognized his skill and enrolled him in the Music Conservatory of Westchester when he was eight. He moved into The Juilliard College at 13. He opened up the 40th wedding anniversary Mostly Mozart Event in 2006, that was coincidentally the 250th wedding anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s delivery.
