Gail Davies

Made up many 1970s/80s Top 10 and Top 20 Billboard strikes. She was the 1st female record maker in nation music background. She was used as a program vocalist at A&M Information. She was employed as an employee songwriter with EMI Posting in 1976 with her 1st hit becoming Bucket south by Ava Barber. She was identified to break through like a singer and lastly found achievement with 1980’s THE OVERALL GAME with its Top 10 hit solitary Blue Heartache and Like Strangers and Great Lovin’ Guy, both Best 20 strikes. Her older sibling was songwriter Ron Davies, writer of David Bowie’s “It Ain’t Easy” and “Very long Hard Climb” by Helen Reddy. She became close friends with Joni Mitchell early in her profession.
