Known for such chart-topping singles as “Dreams,” “Walk in By,” and “Away of Reach,” this British rhythm & blues vocalist and songwriter received BRIT Awards (comparable to USA Grammy Awards) in both 1994 and 1997. She released her debut studio room album, STAY ON COURSE, in 1993. She gained UK MOBO (Music of Dark Origin) Honours in both 1996 and 2000. Blessed Louise Gabrielle Bobb, she was raised in London, Britain. Her popular melody “Out of Reach,” highlighted over the soundtrack from the Renee Zellweger blockbuster Bridget Jones’s Journal, increased to a #4 placement on the uk Singles Chart.
