Gabrielle Giffords


Democratic person in House of Associates from Arizona who served her state from 2001 to 2012. She survived a almost fatal gunshot wound to the top on January 8, 2011. When she handed in her resignation in order that she could concentrate on her recovery she received a standing up ovation from the complete House. She went to Scripps University and Cornell University or college where she analyzed Mexican American relationships. She is the next cousin of celebrity Gwyneth Paltrow. She wedded NASA astronaut Tag E. Kelly on November 10, 2007. She was interviewed by Diane Sawyer about her tragic ordeal.

2 We're gun owners, we support gun rights. but at the same time we've got to do everything to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the dangerously mentally ill. It is not difficult to do that. This issue, like many others, has become very polarizing and political but we are trying to bring some balance to the debate in Washington.
