German poet, academics, and translator known for an 1844 love melody routine entitled Liebesfruhling (Springtime of Like). He released his debut poetry collection, Deutsche Gedichte, beneath the pencil name of Freimund Raimar. He could browse thirty dialects and was a significant translator of Asian books.
