Freya Stark

Best remembered on her behalf numerous magazines detailing her moves in Afghanistan and the center East, this 20th-century travel article writer also published personal memoirs and essays. Her most well-known works are the Journey’s Echo: Chosen Travel Writings as well as the Southern Gates of Arabia: A Trip in the Hadhramaut.
