Frederick William MacMonnies

American sculptor from the Beaux-Arts school who was simply also an extremely completed painter and portraitist. He designed the Princeton Fight Monument. He was raised in Brooklyn and afterwards transferred to France. His most widely known parts are Nathan Hale, Bacchante and Baby Faun, and Diana. He wedded his former pupil Alice Jones in 1910. He made a medal to enjoy Charles Lindbergh’s single Trans-Atlantic flight.
