Nation singer-songwriter who sang “Easy Loving,” which won him the united states Music Association Melody of the entire year Prize in 1971 and in 1972. He began playing electric guitar at five years of age. He quit college when he was twelve and became a member of the U.S. Sea Corps during Globe Battle II after laying about his age group. He was inducted in the Alabama Music Hall of Popularity in 2001. He was raised within a sharecropper family members with fourteen siblings. He agreed upon with Buck Owens’ administration firm in 1969.
