Fred Williamson

Former American Soccer League defensive back the 1960s who became an actor, director, and producer subsequent his football career. He performed college soccer for Northwestern through the latter area of the 1950s. He gained the nickname, ‘The Hammer,’ as an AFL protective back and in addition achieved dark belts in Kenpo, Shotokan Karate, and Tae-Kwon-Do. He and his wife, Linda, bought a house in Hand Springs, California, in 1997. He acted in Quentin Tarantino ‘s film, “From Dusk till Dawn,” in 1996.
