Fred Chappell

An American author and poet, he’s most widely known for Dagon (1968), a emotional thriller with supernatural elements. His various other works consist of I Am Among You Forever (1985) and Castle Tzingal (1984). After their studies at Duke School, he taught British for forty years on the School of NEW YORK at Greensboro. He was the Poet Laureate of NEW YORK for five years. He was created in Canton, NEW YORK. He and his wife Susan became parents to a kid called Heath. He and Randall Jarrell had been both poet laureates.
