Referred to as Flatfoot Sinkwich, he earned the Heisman Trophy using the School of Georgia Bulldogs, using halfback and quarterback. He was a standout athlete in senior high school, and became a member of the Bulldogs on the problem that his friend George Poschner would sign up for on a scholarship or grant aswell. He played skillfully as the working back again for the Detroit Lions, gaining two Pro Dish sections along with a group MVP award in 1944. His parents had been Croatian immigrants from Russian Georgia, who resolved in Pa and went a grocery store business. Aaron Murray also performed quarterback on the School of Georgia.
