Frank O’Connor

A 20th-century Irish writer of brief fiction, he’s most widely known for “THE PERSON of the home” as well as other autobiographical tales. The Frank O’Connor International Brief Story Prize was called in his honor. He offered within the Irish Republican Military through the Irish Battle of Independence. Afterwards, he worked because the handling director from the well-known Abbey Theater in Dublin. His wartime encounters factored into his decision to create “THE BEST Fellow,” a biography of the Irish Independence head.
