Francis Bellamy

Best remembered seeing that the author from the United Areas’ Pledge of Allegiance, Bellamy also worked being a minister and allied himself using the nineteenth-century Christian socialist motion. He gained a theology level from New York’s College or university of Rochester. He released an unsuccessful NY gubernatorial advertising campaign. He was raised in Rome, NY as the boy of the Baptist minister. In the first 1880s, he wedded his initial wife, Harriet Benton; the union created sons called David and John (pursuing Benton’s loss of life, Bellamy wed Marie Morin). He and fellow article writer John Ruskin had been both Christian socialists from the late 19th Hundred years.
