Frances Goodrich

Four-time Oscar nominated screenwriter for movies including: The Thin Man, Following the Thin Man (1936), Dad of the Bride-to-be (1950) and Seven Wedding brides for Seven Brothers. He was also known for earning the Pulitzer Award for Play. She graduated from Vassar University in 1912 and continued to the brand new York College of Social Function. She and hubby Albert Hackett both gained the Pulitzer Award for Drama because of their play, The Journal of Anne Frank. She wedded and composed with Albert Hackett, who was simply also a screenwriter. She and her hubby composed a play structured from the Journal of Anne Frank.
