Flaco Jimenez

Texas-born Tejano accordionist whose song “Ay Te Dejo en San Antonio” earned a 1986 Grammy Award. He began performing at age group seven and started his recording profession in his mid-teens using the musical group Los Caporales. He previously a cameo function in the film PICKING RIGHT UP the Parts, which starred Woody Allen and Sharon Rock. His music was also highlighted over the film’s soundtrack. His sibling, Santiago, also acquired a profession as an accordionist. His music was included on the soundtrack of the favorite film Y Tu Mama Tambien, which starred Diego Luna.
