Created Nouhad Wadi Haddad and better known by her stage name Fairuz, this Lebanese vocalist became among the Arab world’s most acclaimed performers. Her several albums consist of Albaalbakiya (1961), Reminiscing with Fairuz (1971), Maarifti Feek (1984), and Eh Fi Amal (2010). She started her rise to popularity in the past due 1950s, after carrying out at Lebanon’s Baalbeck International Event. Shy naturally and susceptible to stage fright, she created a brand still, bowed efficiency style. Her relationship to Assi Rahbani started in 1955 and led to children called Ziad (a prominent composer), Rima, Layal, and Hali. She collaborated with composer and maker brothers Mansour Rahbani (her brother-in-law) and Assi Rahbani (her spouse) on almost twenty musical theatre works.
