He analyzed performing at Bologna’s Conservatorio Martini. He produced his Metropolitan Opera debut in 1926. He gained a star around the Hollywood Walk of Popularity. He was created in Rome, Italy to Cesare Pinza and Clelia Bulgarelli. He made an appearance with Florence Henderson in Fanny, a 1954 Broadway musical.
