Biography

Nicknamed the Dark Panther, he was among soccer’s most prolific forwards; called Western Footballer of the entire year in 1965. He started his professional profession at age group 15 with Sports de Lourenco Marques. He was inducted in to the FIFA International Soccer Hall of Champions and was called among the top 10 players from the 20th hundred years by IFFHS and Globe Soccer Journal. He wedded Zenobia da Silva, also called Flora, in 1965. The few experienced two daughters, Sandra and Carla, and later on, two grandchildren, Luis and Carolina. He and Pele are believed one of the better soccer players ever.
