Ernst Moritz Arndt

German poet, writer, and patriot known for spearheading the German nationalism and unification motions. His lyric poems and tracks include “What’s the Fatherland from the Germans?”, “WHENEVER WE are United in Happy Instances,” and “Towards the Weaponry, To the Weaponry.” He researched background and theology in the College or university of Greifswald. His German nationalism spawned a prejudice against Jews, Frenchmen, Poles, and Slavs. His dad was an emancipated serf; this family members background affected Arndt’s abolitionist actions. He was a modern of fellow German writer Bettina Von Arnim.
