Ernest Haycox

An American writer of Western-themed fiction, he’s most widely known for his Burnt Creek tales. He also had written some tales set through the American Trend. He offered in the U.S. Military during World Battle I. He released over 300 brief tales. He wedded Jill M. Chord in 1925. He and Chord became parents to two kids. Stage to Lordsburg, a brief story compiled by Ernest Haycox, was the motivation for Stagecoach, a film starring John Wayne.
